After reading the other reviews on yelp, I went into Verde Touch for a prenatal massage and it was wonderful! I had been to 2 other places for pregnancy massages and both were not relaxing, and even worse they made me feel uncomfortable. The problem with these places (and other prenatal massage places in the bay area) is that they make you lay on your side and they do not use enough pressure. I know this because after receiving the 2 crappy massages, I called before trying out a 3rd place, to ask if they had a table with a hole in it for pregnant women. Verde Touch is the only place I found that did. And David was the only masseuse who actually used enough pressure so that I could get some relief. Bottom line is if you are pregnant don't waste your time going anywhere else! Even if you are not pregnant I would recommend Verde Touch. I have been a loyal Verde Touch client for over a year. I was referred to David by a friend and, as all the other reviews have mentioned, the rest is history. Everybody loves David (including me!), however, I decided to take the plunge and have now tried out two other Verde Touch therapists, Shira and Keiko. Both are amazing and both are totally unique. Keiko's style is very intuitive. With me she includes lots of stretching and twisting (which I love), and Shira is just plain fabulous. She can do anything, though I especially like how she incorporates shiatsu, (new to me), to give me separation in my joints. I feel taller since I've been seeing her! I believe massage is a necessity, not a luxury. I work my body hard. I run, bike and am a former triathlete. Yoga and massage keep me able to do my sports and love my life. This is my first visit. I decided to give Verde Touch a try due to the rave reviews and also to take advantage of the current special rate. I had a massage with David today and it was great. I have chronic back pain and just one session helped a lot. The room smells of lavender and he plays relaxing music in the background. Because I am a female, I get a little nervous getting massage performed by men but he was very professional and put me right at ease.
